Event Description

The Yellow Rose Cloggers welcome Scotty Bilz to Columbus, OH, for a day of getting back to our clogging roots. There will be some mountain figures, some Kentucky running set, some smooth dancing and more! ALL of Yellow Rose should come and other teams/dancers are more than welcome to join us!

Cost is $15 before April 1; $18 thereafter and at the door. Contact tapman77@aol.com for an event registration flier.

We have two hotels we're working with: The Sheraton Columbus Hotel at Capital Square ($109/night; 614-365-4500; http://bit.ly/AuMZPH) and the flagship Red Roof Inn Downtown Columbus ($97/night; 614-224-6539;http://www.redroof-columbus-downtown.com/). Both are highly rated by travelers and the Sheraton is newly remodeled. The Sheraton is directly across the street from the workshop. The Red Roof Inn is nearby our evening activities and a 15-minute walk away. Parking near the Sheraton and the Ohio Theater is $5 for the first 5 hours in the garage across the street beneath the Statehouse; $1 for each additional 5 hours — or $9 a day with no in-out privileges. The Sheraton has an attached garage for $14 per day self-park and unlimited in/out privileges. Red Roof is a flat $10 for parking and unlimited in-out privileges. You must book your Red Roof room by March 26 to get the rate. The group code is ROSE13. For the Sheraton, book by March 29 and use code BUCKEYE REWIND. Of course, there are numerous less-expensive hotels in the burbs around downtown if you'd like to search on your own and distance from the workshop is not a factor for you. Red Roof has a free continental breakfast; Sheraton does not.
