Hey guys, just wanted to let those of you who performed in the Friends and Family Night at OSU Urban Arts Space what a fantastic job you all did! The reviews of the show were excellent, and the staff at the Space were quite impressed with the crowd we brought out to watch us. It went over super well, and you guys performed spectacularly.
The Space folks already have said we can come back, so we'll make another trip there at some point. Although I think I'd rather do a Saturday so we can have more of us dancing and make it easier for everyone to get there. I'll have to figure out if they'll let us do that. Would you guys be up for doing a performance in that place again? Let me know!
For those of you who missed it, the dancers did the team proud and the audience really and truly enjoyed themselves. We brought a bunch of them up and taught them Cotton Eyed Joe, some simple non-clogging steps and they really had fun with it. I gave our show CD away to the person who the dancers said did the best from the audience and they really enjoyed that. I think we'll start doing that at every show we have an audience mixer.
Anyway, just wanted to give you guys a big pat on the back and say how proud I am of you and the effort you give the team. It's your team and you should be equally proud.
Our success is in part to your leadership and non-condescending teaching style. Our enthusiasm comes from the love for what we're doing and the bond that we have as a team. I believe that we're more than a team, we are an entity, a family, and a force to be reckoned with. And I'm not alone in saying that your support, dedication and time that you put into our growth do not go unnoticed or unappreciated.
