Well, some of you have been with me for a year and a half, many of you have joined since June and others have come on board more recently.....and I'm wondering.....is there anything you would like to do with clogging that we're not? Is everybody having as much fun as they possibly could?
What about exhibitions? Am I getting enough for your taste or should I be doing even more? How much time and energy is everyone willing to commit to learning new material (this means attending classes regularly when it's in your control to do so)?
Also, how often would you like to learn new routines? There is a wealth of material I know that you guys still don't. Am I keeping a good pace in teaching you, or should I be going faster or slower?
How about clogging workshops? Is going to the ones in October, January and May enough? Are we interested in going to Texas the third weekend in July? (I'm going for sure....how about anyone else?)
This is your chance to give me feedback and help shape your team. So the final question.....do you feel like this is your team? If not, why not?
I could do more in learning, exhibitions, and workshops, but I know every single one of us has different schedules, learning curves and needs. I know, being new to clogging, that my learning curve is somewhat muted because of so much I don't know. I'm sure I'll also be swamped the first quarter of next year with Vaud Villities, but the rest of year I'll be more gung-ho)
I would like to go to the Texas workshop and see what that's like.

I am so proud ot be a member of the Yellow rose cloggers. I absolutely LOVE IT !!!!!
I can not find anything wrong in what you are doign in your teaching and organizing for us to have some exhibition time. I am also excited to hear that you are interested in letting us do some circle dancing and also some couple dances. I think this will round us off as being one of the best clogging groups around. I also think the introduction of each of us and a little demonstration will be good. Maybe even bring us up in a group or more then one at a time for some of the shy ones !!!! . Maybe we can learn a certain step so we will know what we are to do and we can really STRUT OUR STUFF !!!!! would be good.
I have been looking for clogging since moving here 4 years ago. I guess I wasn't looking in the right place. I am still thrilled to be back doing what I love to do. My knees are not so happy but that is why they invented Tylenol. The pace is good for me. I would like to get back to doing demos but am happy taking it slow so I feel comfortable with the dances. Having a great time.
