Event Description

Yellow Rose is the pre-show entertainment for SNAP! (Supporting Nonprofit Associations through Performance) at its spring showcase May 7-9. We'll be performing before each show (8 p.m. May 7, 8 and 9 as well as 2 p.m. May 9) at the Abbey Theater in Dublin. Plan to arrive an hour and 15 minutes before the SNAP! show times. Yellow Rose members Adam and Kiele also will be performing an a capella number in the show with some of the SNAP! members.

SNAP!'s charity of choice is St. Vincent Family Centers, which helps troubled youth. A portion of their show proceeds go to their designated charity.

DIRECTIONS TO VENUE: To get there, the directions on Mapquest weren't all that great. I found, if you're coming from 270, you need to exit 33/161 to Dublin, then turn left at Post Road (Franz Road goes right at the same light). Turn right onto Emerald Parkway, then take a left at the very next light, where there will be a sign on the light that says Municipal Building. Follow that road all the way to the back of the rec center complex, where the Abbey Theatre is located.

Comment by Adam King on January 20, 2009 at 1:13am: As far as I know we will not be receiving free tickets to the show. There is not a set price for tickets yet, but my guess is they'll be in the $15-$20 range per person. I'll let you know when I get more details. Comment by Adam King on January 26, 2009 at 6:43pm: An update on tickets to SNAP for your friends and family: Tickets will be $20 per person; kids and seniors are cheaper. I believe if we buy 20 or more, we get a 10 percent discount per ticket. The tickets will go on sale in February. You can purchase tickets right on the SNAP Web site, but if we want to pool our resources to get the discount, let me know and we'll buy a group set if we get enough.
